McKool Smith co-founder Mike McKool Jr. and firm principal Samuel F. Baxter are being honored among the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America. This is the second year that both have earned spots on the listing of the country’s top attorneys.

To select this prestigious group, Lawdragon’s staff conducted extensive national research, including interviewing thousands of legal professionals to identify the country’s best lawyers.

Among all practicing U.S. attorneys, less than one-tenth of one percent were included in the Lawdragon 500. Those earning selection to the list include private lawyers from a wide range of practices, as well as in-house counsel, law professors, judges, government attorneys and public interest lawyers.

McKool Smith has more than 90 attorneys in Dallas, Austin, Marshall, Texas and Washington DC, handling commercial and intellectual property litigation for national and international clients.
